Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Trombay
The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is India’s primary nuclear research facility. It has a number of nuclear reactors, all of which are used for India’s nuclear power and research program. The possible site of a weapons program including plutonium production using Dhruva and Cirus research reactors, a plutonium extraction plant and a pilot-scale uranium enrichment plant.
